You will develop cutting-edge isothermal amplification techniques as the SME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design, development, validation, and characterization of next-generation isothermal DNA amplification assays and devices for point-of-care applications.
- Innovate and optimize DNA extraction and sample preparation methods to enhance assay sensitivity and specificity.
- Develop sophisticated primers for advanced DNA amplification assays, leveraging deep understanding of molecular interactions.
Experience:
- DNA biochemistry, advanced primer design, and state-of-the-art nucleic acid amplification technologies, with a particular focus on isothermal amplification techniques.
- DNA enzymology, especially working with DNA and RNA polymerases to optimize amplification reactions.
- Proven track record in developing molecular diagnostics, with emphasis on creating point-of-care nucleic acid tests using isothermal amplification methods.
- Strong background in research-oriented environments, either in academia or industry.
- Hands-on experience manipulating and optimizing enzymes for amplification reactions, demonstrating a deep understanding of enzyme kinetics and molecular interactions.
Qualifications:
- PhD with a track record of research in molecular diagnostics, demonstrating innovative approaches to complex challenges.
- Expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry, with hands-on mastery of cutting-edge laboratory techniques and NGS.
- Outstanding publication record in peer-reviewed journals, showcasing contributions to the field of isothermal amplification and point-of-care diagnostics.
