Associate Scientist, Structural Biology

As our biotech client continues to expand their Antibody Engineering group, we are seeking an Associate Scientist to contribute to research initiatives.

Associate Scientist, Structural Biology

YOU will work alongside a team of distinguished scientists.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to designing strategies for recombinant production of membrane protein targets.
2. Purify proteins and conduct analytical characterizations for hit identification and validation.
3. Help troubleshoot and optimize protein engineering, expression, purification, and formulation processes.
4. Contribute to cryo-EM structural studies of membrane protein targets.
5. Assist with guiding gene-to-structure processes and integrating structural biology into protein engineering, antibody discovery, and screening.

Essential Qualifications:

• MS degree in Protein Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar.

Preferred Experience:

• Protein biochemistry and molecular biology experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with structure determination and visualization software, Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and advanced statistics.

Additional Points:

--This is a full time position and the person can come from academia or industry.

--This position can be Sr Research Associate, Associate Scientist, or Sr Associate Scientist.

--Title and salary (including base plus annual bonus) are commensurate with experience, and relocation is provided.
